Conscious Diaries was a 365-day project (2017) where I practiced consciousness through my daily, normal life as a working mom.
Why? After becoming a life coach in 2016, the most transformative thing about the process for me was learning how to be conscious/aware/mindful. I stopped living on autopilot.
Consciousness changed me. It helped me realize I had control over my life and how I reacted to it. I was no longer a victim to circumstance. I had some measure of power in every single action.
I didn't want the consciousness to end just because I completed my training and became certified. I wanted that transformation, that life-changing feeling to continue. I wanted to pursue my thoughts, beliefs, values, and feelings on a day-to-day basis. I wanted to see how I could possibly influence my young daughter so that she could learn the benefits of consciousness WAY before I did.
Hence, this blog. I covered all kinds of topics, like motherhood (oh, lots of mom/kid topics!), my job, my business, my health and everything in between. I just took things day by day. I chose to be open to what came.
