Raising Young Girls: Resources to Check Out
I just finished reading a fantastic article about raising girls. I wanted to share it with you today in lieu of my own post. I love this article and intend to save or even print it to return to it over and over again, in an effort to remind me of ways in which to cultivate strength, compassion, and confidence in my daughter. I may even figure out a way to incorporate aspects of it into my vision board, which I'll lovingly complete this weekend.
How to Raise a Warrior Girl, by Klaudia Khan, is long and covers a lot of ground. But I encourage you to settle in and read it, especially if you have girls of your own. If you don't have girls of your own, but are in a position to influence them - aunt, uncle, grandparent, teacher, coach - please also consider reading.
If you take the time to read it, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Conscious Diaries Facebook page.
I also want to give a shout out to Girls Can, the Facebook page via which I came about this article. Girls Can is a page that wants to help parents empower our young girls. Please check it out and follow if it's in alignment with your goals.
Have a beautiful day and be open to what comes.
