My carb restriction is paying off, as I believed it would. It's only been one day since I returned from my indulgent weekend that resulted in a 3.3 pound weight GAIN. I've already lost one pound.
With that said, I expect I'll lose more...and quickly—although, not intentionally. I'm sick. I believe I picked up some kind of stomach bug or ate something bad. I started to show signs of it yesterday and this morning I felt pretty yucky. I've eaten nothing all day except for some Triscuits and dry Honey Nut Cheerios. Those are the only two things even remotely appealing when my stomach has grumbled.
So, weight loss is forthcoming, but not the way I wanted to do it. I'm hoping to feel better soon.
Be open to what comes.
