It's Day 25! Only five more days of me focusing solely on my health.
I lost another pound today. Not a shocker given I didn't each much yesterday.
Today, I'm feeling SO much better and my appetite returned. I had one of my cashew muffins for breakfast, raw cauliflower and yogurt for lunch, and a turkey burger with salad and broccoli for dinner. I expect some weight gain tomorrow, but I'm not concerned. Just glad I'm feeling better.
With that said, I must share that I came to a shocking realization today. The yogurt that I love has WAY MORE carbs and sugar than I thought. I had never looked at the nutrition label...until today. (Shame on me.) I just assumed that it was healthy. Hell! It's yogurt!
My conscious self was PISSED! Pissed at myself for not looking at the package and pissed at the manufacturer for making it with so much sugar. I hate it when a company takes something that is believed to be healthy and mucks with it. I want to believe manufacturers don't manipulate supposedly/presumed healthy products to be unhealthy on purpose, but I fear they do.
