Day 26 made my heart race...literally.
I didn't sleep well last night. So me, in my infinite wisdom, decided to consume caffeinated coffee this morning to head off a sleep-deprived slumber later. After about the third cup (#dontjudgeme), I could literally feel my heart racing and a rush throughout my body. It was the oddest sensation. I wasn't in pain. I also had some stomach revolt, which I suspect was from the coffee itself. (But I was only one day out from a stomach bug/virus.).
I was completely aware of how my body was responding to the stimulant. I was hyper conscious—if there is such a thing.
Here I am writing this post at a little after 7:00pm and I can still feel some of the effects.
Hard lesson was learned today. Only consume caffeine when in desperate need, and even then, sparingly.
Looking forward to a decaffeinated, make that un-caffeinated day tomorrow.
Be open to what comes.
