Day 29 and I'm both proud and disappointed.
I'm proud because I got my tail up out of bed and worked out this morning.
I'm disappointed because this morning the scale said I gained two pounds back!
The back and forth, even if only by a couple of pounds, is exasperating. I know there are things that can cause this type of minor weight fluctuation, especially in women, but still...I want it to be a linear process! No more back and forth already!
While I'm not stopping my pursuit to lose a total of 15 pounds by Thanksgiving, I can see why folks start to give up. It's a LOT of effort to be conscious of every food choice. With that said, this was never solely about weight loss. This is more about overall health and making more conscious food decisions. That, I'm quite proud to say I've done over the past 29 days and expect to continue.
Be open to what comes.
