Day 17 brought a yummy breakfast (one of my cashew muffins) and two cups of coffee. I REALLY wanted the coffee. I mean I really, REALLY wanted it. So much so that I went to the basement and retrieved the coffee pot that I had stored away. I knew that coffee wasn't going to be part of my daily routine anymore, so I stored it away over the weekend. But, I didn't realize I'd want some again so quickly. I love wrapping my hand around a cup of coffee, especially now that the weather is cooler.
Honestly, I'm not sure if giving in to that craving was good or bad. I want to limit the amount of coffee I drink and I've definitely done that. And I'm eating way more healthfully than before and consuming more water, both of which are important. So, for now, I'll just take it one step at a time and see if I continue to crave coffee. I'll still store the pot in the basement for now. :)
