Happy Tuesday everyone!
If you read last Tuesday's post, you'll know that I felt like I was in a holding pattern then. Today, I can say that I definitely made progress.
The majority of my progress this past week has been, yet again, the silent auction and general school PTO fundraising. At risk of sounding like a broken record, it's definitely taking more time than I thought. But, I'm giving it my all. I also made time to not only mark all my favorite family photos for my daughter's yearbook, but I got through about 60% of the book design! I'm so close to being done I can taste it!
I'm reassessing my tackle-it list a bit to be more reasonable for this coming week. The goals over the past couple of weeks have been just too lofty, making me feel like I'm not working on my goals enough...when in fact I am working a TON! Instead of feeling like I've failed, I'm deciding that it's time to reassess priorities and adjust given the level of effort needed for the school right now.
- School: Silent Auction/Fundraising
- Personal: Complete daughter's yearbook - 100% complete; ready for publishing
- Personal: Create template for 2018 family calendar
Shorter list. Way more doable. And, I think it'll make me feel way more successful come next Tuesday!
How often do you make lists and write yourself notes of all the to-dos that need to get done? If you're like me, your lists get moved all over the place. Post-its get lost. I'm a paper-and-pen kind of gal. I just love to WRITE down what I'm supposed to do! I think I've identified a means that might work for me. I'm going to try it out this week and report back next week about how it worked for me.
What's on your to-do? How do you keep it straight? Or, are you like me and make lists and notes that are far from straight and organized? I'd love to hear!
Be open to what comes.
