I met a new friend for lunch last week. During our lunch, she advised that she quit her job. She wasn't sure what she was going to do yet. She just knew that was what she was supposed to do.
She said she feared sounding crazy.
I reassured her she wasn't crazy.
Admittedly, I don't know of many that would quit their job without something lined up. The sense of security almost all of us seek is pretty strong. We want to know we can pay our bills and have health insurance and continue our standard of living.
The choice to leave a job without another one lined up can be risky. But listening to ourselves is never crazy. And while there may not be many that listen to their intuition, I always think it's a wise move. I believe the universe whispers to us at first, then moves on to smacking us upside the head to get us to move and change and align with a greater plan. I believe those that listen are happier, fulfilled, and profoundly blessed.
I honor my new friend for making such a bold move. It's unconventional, yes. But it's not crazy.
What's your intuition telling you? Listen.
Be open to what comes.
