Back in October, I selected a theme for each day of the week that aligned with my interests. I made this change to the blog after focusing on my health for 30 consecutive days. Doing so made me realize that I was being more reactive with the blog than proactive. Focusing on my health helped me prioritize something that I said was important earlier in the year and gave me a sense of control over my blog posts.
Another aspect of importance was remaining conscious about my values, family being the most important. Hence, Family Friday's was born.
I intended to use Family Fridays as a means to capture my parenting thoughts/advice, along with anything else family-related that arose. All Family Friday posts stayed within that intention. I shared a key parenting question I had heard during a podcast and shared a podcast that provided some unconventional guidance on discipline. With that said, most of the posts shared goings on within our own family dynamic...some fun, some challenging, some sad.
Prior to themes, I certainly posted about family and parenting often, including struggles raising/parenting my little one. All in all, I hope that some of the items I shared were of value or at least something you could resonate with.
Wishing you all treasured times with your family and improved relationships with those you love.
Be open to what comes.
