Today was kinda awesome and kinda not. Awesomeness included: cleaning house, coaching, and celebrating the retirement of a loved one. The not-so-awesome was my kid. She struggled with appropriate behavior today. When she struggles, I struggle.
More on that maybe in an upcoming post. Until then, here's my week in review:
Sunday: I laid out how NOT to handle conflict. Learn from me people. Learn from me. (I really do typically handle things much better than this. Alas, we're all human. Just saying'...)
Monday: I had another A-MAZING day! And it was just about everyday stuff. Whoop! Whoop! I love those kinds of days!
Tuesday: New adventures await me at work! I shared my excitement, as well as why I'm digging the metaphor that life is much more like a sailboat than a train.
Wednesday: As a mom, and a leader, I was awestruck by the goodness in my life.
Thursday: I discussed how I stressed about something that then worked out in the end. We all have moments of overthinking things.
Friday: I shared my conscious thoughts regarding my washing machine's slow death.
I'm grateful for today. I'm grateful for my life. I'm also grateful that tonight is an early night.
Be open to what comes.
