Make a Connection: Ask Questions!

Last week while my family and I were eating dinner, I saw a tiny red box on the table.  It had a clear lid and was only about 1/4” tall.  I asked what it was and my daughter said she didn’t know and that it came with her Chick-FIl-A kids meal a few days prior.  Our curiosity had been piqued.  Upon opening the package, I was thrilled to find that the product consisted of 20 cards, a single question on each.  The top card in the pile was labeled Can You Imagine TableTopics: Questions To Start Great Conversations.

We spent the rest of dinner asking each other various questions.  One was, “Would you rather be a dolphin, lion, eagle or horse - why?”  Another was “What is your biggest dream in life?”  It was fascinating to hear each other's answers.  More questions ensued from the original and we continued to talk later into the evening.  What a wonderful way to spend the evening!

First, I want to give a big shout out to Chick-fil-A.  They get an A+ in my book!  Not only do they have some pretty tasty food, they knock it out of the park with their kids meal products.  (Thank you to CFA for NOT giving me yet another crappy, plastic toy that I must throw away!)

Second, I love, Love, LOVE this product!  At a time when many of us have our eyes glued to a screen of some sort, I am overjoyed that this product is being given with a kids meal!  It helps us connect with our kids and with each other.

I do want to be fair and mention that there are competitor products, one of which is by Melissa and Doug, that we also have and enjoy very much.

Below, you will find links to various versions of the TableTopic products.  They are affiliate links, which means that if you click on one of the product links, I’ll receive a small percentage of the sale to help offset costs of running this blog.

Whether you buy via the links above or not, I encourage you to consider purchasing one of these games.  Connect with each other.  Connect with your kids.  Connect with yourself.

Be open to what comes.
