A-MAZING Days

When was the last time you had an A-MAZING day?  From the time you woke up in the morning, to the time you went to bed, the day felt awesome.  You were full of positive energy...all day!  Those around you were full of fantastic energy!  Everything fell into place, almost effortlessly!  You had a feeling of near euphoria by the end of the day because of all that happened.  Ever had that kind of day?  I just did. :)

Yep, I did.  And, no, I didn't win the lottery.  (Although that would have been A-MAZING too. :))

I had a significant meeting at work today that I needed to prepare for and I wanted to get in early.  I planned on waking my daughter up VERY early and taking her to childcare so that I could get a jump on the day.  I only do that when I MUST, because waking my daughter early ends up creating a little monster.  (Can't say I blame her.  When I don't get enough sleep, I'm grumpy cat too.)  My husband surprised me by offering to let her wake closer to normal time and handling childcare so I could get in to the office.  (Have I ever mentioned how A-MAZING my husband is?)

I arrived at work and was completely focused.  I knocked out everything that I needed to do to prepare for my meeting.  I was awaiting some feedback on my presentation, when all of a sudden, my visitors arrived 30 minutes EARLY!  I could have freaked, but I didn't.  I was as cool as a cucumber.  I handled finalizing my presentation, while handling some things for my visitors at the same time.  No sweat...

Guess how the meeting went?  It was A-MAZING!  It exceeded my expectations.

I was able to leave work on time to participate in a scheduled volunteer effort, which allowed me to spend some time with my daughter.  A-MAZING!  And then I was able to come home and enjoy dinner with the family, tell my hubs all about my day, and play a little more with my daughter.

I love when things go A-MAZINGly. :)

Wishing you all an A-MAZING day of your own!

Be open to what comes.
