As a continuation from yesterday's post, I watched/listened to the training replay. The host conveyed pretty early on in the training that she had a "surprise" or something at the end about her for-fee training. She then proceeded, for nearly the next 40 minutes, to give some really good advice and examples. She did drop plenty of references to her for-fee training, but I felt most were done in taste.
Although life interrupted my ability to listen and focus on the training at about the one-hour mark, I was pleased with what I heard. I don't believe I heard anything new, but I liked her approach and the content.
The conscious aspect of this relates to my interest to identify friends, family, local business owners, well-known leaders, and others from which to learn. I don't just listen to what they say. My heightened awareness helps me to both listen and identify their methods, strategies, and tools to decipher what I like and what I don't like. I then assess how I may implement aspects into my own business, if any. I'm exploiting opportunities. I'm a complete student. And I love it.
Be open to what comes.
