Last Friday, I read a post by Elizabeth Gilbert on FB. It was entitled, Is Your Soul Appalled?
Elizabeth's post offered thoughts to those trying to find their path in life and to those feeling stuck in the process. She believes, like I do, that we all have one or more tasks to do while we're here on earth. She says that the more we listen to and follow our soul, the more clear our paths appear. Yet, when we lose touch with what the soul wants, we feel stuck.
Elizabeth's post struck a chord with me. It did so on two fronts: One, it was crafted in such a way that it felt super relatable. And two, I was there - my soul used to be appalled. I felt like everyday was on repeat. I felt like there had to be o get up and go to the job I had at the time n't listening to what it wanted. I was ignoring its desires. Once I finally tuned into my intuition, and dialed down the fear of change and judgment is when my life got awesome...and I must say, a lot easier.
I'm excited to be in a position in my life where I can help others get to their happy place, or their AWESOME place, just like I did.
I highly recommend her post. It's lengthy, but really worth it if you seek "more" out of your life.
Be open to what comes.
