I consider myself extremely spiritual. I have a strong faith and exercise connection with God (or the "Universe" as many call it) daily. One of the ways I'm trying to improve that connection is by trusting my intuition.
I believe intuition is offered unconsciously and, therefore, difficult to pin down. I feel it's the gut feeling you get or little whisper you hear that tells you to do or consider something. It can feel like the thought is coming out of nowhere. Alternatively, it can feel like two sides of your brain are speaking: Intuition may say "quit your job and pursue your dream." The rational part of your brain may answer, "Are you crazy?! Hell no! I got bills to pay!"
Who can relate to this type of internal dialogue? I know it's not just me!
I felt this article from Psychology Today described intuition well and gave an example of how it may show up in our daily lives.
While intuition is generated/offered unconsciously, I believe that it takes a conscious mind to recognize when those intuition hits are offered and whether or not to follow them. I'm trying my best to follow. More on this tomorrow...
In the meantime, I'd love to hear any stories you have about following (or not following) your intuition and the outcome.
Be open to what comes.
