If you're like me, you have a to-do list a mile long. And somehow, that damn list never seems to shorten! For every one item I mark off, there's usually at least one or more items that are added in its place!
My brain gets high from crossing items off the list, or making small (or LARGE) checkmarks next to the completed items. The method of denoting completion doesn't really matter. My brain interprets the action as SUCCESS regardless! I think it also sends the message that I've been productive.
Productive is definitely the word I'd use for today. I was immensely focused at work and got a lot done. And, that productivity was just in time too given I'm taking a long weekend.
Yay me! (I'm doing the happy dance right now!)
I'm looking forward to a long, balanced, productive weekend. I'll have two whole days (count 'em...1, 2) to myself, at the house! Does that not SCREAM productivity?! Yes, I could rest, but I'll have time for that on Sunday. I want to get shit done! I have a pile of old toys on my dining room table that will be GONE by COB tomorrow. G-O-N-E...GONE. I may also go riffling through my daughter's playroom to find more to add to that pile. If she asks me what happened to the toys, I'll cry ignorance. (Oh, I know you momma's feel me.)
Cleaning up around the house seems IMPOSSIBLE on a normal day, at least in my house. Having time with family, time to myself, and time to be productive over five long, beautiful, glorious days...bring it on!
Be open to what comes.
