I bought a book a few weeks ago called Whose Mind is it Anyway? It's written by a husband-and-wife team, Lisa and Franco Esile. It recommends that everyone stop making their minds the KING of all decisions and suggests that we use both our mind and our heart to navigate life.
Before I even had a chance to read it, my daughter got her hands on it and read it from cover to cover. It was a super quick read for her. While I don't believe the book is aimed at children, she was engrossed in the book and seemed to enjoy it.
My heart swelled when I noticed her reading the book. This narrative is one I WANT her to be exposed to, now as a kid and not in her 30s or 40s. I can't wait to see how it serves her. Or maybe I should say, I hope it serves her well.
I found this animated trailer for the book and thought some of you may enjoy it as well. I believe it accurately captures the feeling and content of the book!
I welcome your thoughts of the video and/or the book!
Be open to what comes.
