Does your narrative — the story you tell yourself — convey a mindset of lack and/or fear? Is it the default space from which you see and interact with the world? Are you afraid of not having enough or not being enough? Do you find yourself waiting for the other shoe to drop? Do you always having your guard up? Do you feel like others are taking advantage of you and situations?
If any of this resonates with you, what if that fear, that feeling of lack, is also robbing you?
If the above is true, when we limit our feelings of fear, lack, sadness, and other negative emotions, then we also limit the most positive emotions like joy, exhilaration, excitement, awe, inspiration, and more.
Think about how you interact with the world? Do you have as much positive mojo as negative? If you primarily feel like you must protect yourself and fight for what you want, how willing are you to reconsider how you see the world? Changing your narrative may just welcome in more joy.
