Making My Health a Priority

It's time to get real about my health.

I lost 35 lbs about three years ago now.  Over the past year and a half, I've gained back about 13 lbs and I don't like it.  Although 35 lbs was a great accomplishment, gaining some of it back is not.  Furthermore, I still had more I wanted to lose, even when I was 35 lbs down.

I assessed my priorities at the beginning of this blog project, as well as when I did my vision board.  Even though health was identified as a priority, it consistently falls to the bottom of my pile.

Beginning today, my health is now a priority.  (In all honesty, I really started yesterday, but for purposes of this blog, the journey starts today.)  For at least the next 30 days, I'll blog about my diet/nutrition choices, successes, struggles and/or issues I'm encountering/considering in this journey.

Why use this format?  Because this forum provides a means of accountability...and I need accountability with this.

So, if you're like me and you're not where you want to be with your health/weight, maybe you should follow for the next 30 days.  Maybe something will resonate with you and hopefully help you move forward to your goal too.

Be open to what comes.
