I have heard of a man named Victor E. Frankl numerous times in podcasts over the past few months. I decided to look him up. I wanted to know more of his story.
Frankl was an accomplished Austrian neurologist and psychologist. He developed Logotherapy, which is the idea that there's meaning in everything, even suffering. He believed that the drive to find meaning is the most powerful human motivator. Frankl put his theories to test while incarcerated in Nazi concentration camps and watching both his parents and pregnant wife perish.
I am going to put some of his books on my to-read list. In the meantime, I found some his quotes really interesting and picked a few to share.
Just reading his quotes give me food for thought.
Be open to what comes.
